We are Infinite
Our entire lives we live in a small, short-sighted, self-serving sense of self. Trapped in fears, desires, pleasures, false meanings of human existence.
We can say humans are species of morons. They are stupid and inferior creatures. But that’s a very shallow way of looking at the world. In truth we are infinite. That’s why we are free. We are not bound by anything but things happen out of cosmic play.
To understand how we are all infinite. I’ll go through simple sequence to understand infinity.
Emptiness → Cosmic play → Freedom → Infinity
Path of understanding infinity
Emptiness (Śūnyatā)
You do not exist nor the things you believe exist.
- A tree exists only because of soil, sunlight, water, time, and countless other conditions.
- A moment exists because of past events, present conditions, perception, memory, and the mystery of time itself.
Everything in the cosmos is “Empty of intrinsic existence” means there is nothing in the world that exists by its own, with a fixed nature.
Likewise, you exist only through infinite interdependencies (parents, air, food, culture, language, evolution, cosmos).
So is there really a “you”, “I”, “me”? Does your “self” exists? Simply no.
Realize that all things are empty of fixed essence. Therefore, no thing has a final boundary.
Cosmic play (Lila)
If all things arise from infinite interconnections, causes and conditions, then everything is unfolding according to the whole — like a cosmic web.
It’s neither chaos nor someone controlling us but — the cosmos flowing as one. And our existence is result of the cosmic play.
Existence itself is like divine play — not for some fixed purpose, but for the dance of it. Like an artist painting, then erasing, then painting again.
So, the meaning may not lie in “lasting forever,” but in living, experiencing, connecting, and creating while the sandcastle stands.
Freedom (Non-Attachment)
When you see emptiness and cosmic flow, you stop clinging to a rigid “self.”
There is no points in being bound by identity, karma, or ego. Freedom is openness to flow with reality. Flowing with what is eternal.
Infinite eternal
We are not separate from the infinite—everything in the universe flows as one. Life, death, joy, suffering—all are part of a continuous, cyclical process. You, me, the stars, the earth—all are woven into this eternal web.
We all flow in what is eternal. Moron or intelligent, living or dead, everything flows as one as infinite eternal.
Examples
-
A star shines for millions of years, then collapses — but its atoms scatter to form new stars, planets, and even living beings.
You are made of stardust, and one day you will return to the stars. You are infinite as part of the eternal cycle of cosmic creation. -
White light splits into infinite colors through a prism. Likewise, the infinite whole expresses itself as countless beings and experiences. You are one color, but inseparable from the infinite light.
Conclusion: Embrace the Flow
At the end of the day, the realization that you are infinite isn’t about abstract philosophy or detached contemplation. It’s a way of seeing the world—one that helps us let go of rigid concepts of self and control, and embrace the beauty and fluidity of life. By understanding emptiness, seeing life as cosmic play, and realizing the freedom of non-attachment, we can flow with the infinite, experiencing existence in all its depth and mystery. In this cosmic dance, we are both nothing and everything—finite in form, yet infinite in essence.
