False dilemma

Definition:
A structural error where the mind reduces reality into two options, both serving the ego, while hiding alternative possibilities.

Reality (Open Field)
        ↓
Ego Filtering
        ↓
Option A vs Option B
        ↓
Option C (Hidden)

Characteristics:

  1. Both options are limiting
  2. Choice feels forced
  3. Relief comes from “choosing,” not from truth

Example structure:

  • A: Compromise
  • B: Suffer
  • C: Live intelligently (hidden)

False dilemmas are not mistakes.
They are defensive constructions of the ego.
